Dull's Pumpkin Harvest Dedicates Weekend to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital
Throughout the month of October, Dull’s Pumpkin Harvest is raising awareness of pediatric cancer and raising funds for pediatric cancer research. The weekend of October 12-13 was dedicated to highlighting the services of Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital and to raise funds to support our pediatric cancer patients and their families.

Anders Kolb, MD Presents at 20th Annual Pediatric CME Conference
On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital hosted its 20th Annual Pediatric CME Conference at the Ritz Charles Banquet and Conference Center. This year’s keynote speaker was Anders Kolb, MD who presented the session titled “Progress and Possibilities in Childhood Acute Myeloid Leukemia.” Dr. Kolb’s visit and presentation were made possible by a generous donor.

Peyton Manning Children Hospital's Patient Education Classroom Renovated with Innovative Technology
On Friday, September 27, 2019, we celebrated the dedication of the newly renovated Patient Education Classroom. The Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital Patient Education program provides school age children with educational support and advocacy when their medical journeys interrupt their ability to participate in traditional schooling. The newly renovated classroom will help to build and deepen those relationships with new comfortable, flexible seating options and more outlets to plug in devices or IV poles.

Dedication of the Newly Renovated Classroom at the St.Vincent Indianapolis Stress Center
On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, the St. Vincent Foundation celebrated the dedication of the newly renovated classroom at the St. Vincent Indianapolis Stress Center. This classroom serves the Therapeutic Day School program for school age children who need intensive behavioral therapies beyond what is available in their home schools. Students come from across Central Indiana to participate in this program where they work on behavioral health in addition to continuing their grade level studies.
This renovation was made possible by the generous support of the Crosser Family Foundation, a fund of Hamilton County Community Foundation.

Alma Deutscher Hosts Special Performance for Peyton Manning Children's Hospital Patients
On September 13, 2019, patients at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital enjoyed a musical performance by Alma Deutscher, a 14-year-old musician from Vienna, Austria. During her visit to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, Alma played on the violin and the piano. One of her songs included a piece from her new album which she performed for the first time. The patients were so excited to be part of the world premier for that piece!

Peyton Manning Children's Hospital Receives Grant from the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation for Healing Arts
On Saturday, August 24, 2019, Dr. Hossain M. Marandi, President of Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, and Kaitlin Knapp, Manager of the Healing Arts program at St. Vincent Ascension received a grant from the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation benefiting Healing Arts Program at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital during the 101st Annual American Legion Convention.
