Republic Airways Inc. Dedicates Themed Room at

Peyton Manning Children's Hospital

On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, we celebrated the dedication of the new Aviation Themed Room at
Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent generously sponsored by Republic Airways Inc.

Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent hopes to make every patient room an engaging and comforting place through specially designed themed rooms. These rooms are designed to make each patient's environment as child-friendly and uplifting as possible. Research has shown that attractive rooms with themes and decorations aid in treatment, helping to make the hospitalization experience less daunting for young patients. Being in a decorated and themed room is another way that children understand that they are cared for and loved during a critical time in their young lives.

"For healing," said Bryan Bedford during the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Republic Airways Inc. has been involved with St. Vincent since 2009 with various initiatives. In the past two years, Republic has donated more that $200,000 through events, such as their annual Plane Pul competition held in April. Republic and its flight school LIFT Academy, both headquartered in Indianapolis, have worked with St. Vincent to design and develop an Aviation Room in which pilots, flight attendants, aviation maintenance technicians, and other airport personnel are featured on a mural and the bed is situated on a runway, and ready for takeoff!

Thank you Republic Airways Inc. and LIFT Academy!
