Daughters of Charity Prayer Garden (Evansville)

In 1872, the Daughters of Charity established Evansville’s first hospital, St. Mary’s. And the rest is history. You can help commemorate the Daughters’ legacy by purchasing a brick in the Daughters of Charity Prayer Garden, which is located next to St. Mary’s Chapel and Ascension St. Vincent Center for Advanced Medicine. Individual bricks are available with a tax-deductible donation of $250 or more and can be personalized in honor or memory of a loved one or friend. The brick size is 8.25 inches x 5.5 inches, and 3 lines of personalization (14 characters per line, including spaces and punctuation) can be accommodated.
