Hope for the Holidays

HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS is a program coordinated by the dedicated Community Outreach Department at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis where interested departments within the Ascension St. Vincent Hospital system are matched with patients and families in need of hope during the holiday season. Departments coordinate purchasing, wrapping, and delivering items to their “adopted” individual or family.

The Purpose of Hope for the Holidays:
  • To engage, build, and maintain relationships in the Ascension St. Vincent Hospital and surrounding community.
  • To provide one-time assistance to officially referred patients and their families in need of hope for the holiday season.
  • To coordinate annual assistance for individuals who are currently associated with New Hope of Indiana (NHI).
Hope for the Holidays referrals are accepted from
  • Ascension St. Vincent Hospital social workers and associates in Indianapolis
  • New Hope of Indiana management and staff
