St. Vincent Society

The St. Vincent Foundation is pleased to recognize annual donors of $1,000 or more as members of the St. Vincent Society. The society was established in honor of St. Vincent de Paul, Patron Saint of All Charity. St. Vincent’s life work was devoted to caring and concern for the poor.  During his lifetime, he saw to the needs of thousands who were hungry, sick, in prison and orphaned. His ministry continues today at St. Vincent and throughout the world through the service of the Daughters of Charity who founded our hospital.

St. Vincent Society members receive a token of appreciation and have their names listed on the Honor Wall of Donors in the lobby of St. Vincent Hospital and in Foundation publications.  In addition, St. Vincent Society members are recognized as Friends of the Foundation.  Friends of the Foundation enjoy the following special benefits:

O        Assistance during check-in and throughout hospital stay (upon request)

O        Gift and visits by the Foundation during your hospital stay

O        Visits from the St. Vincent Pet Ministry

O        Assistance with physician referral and subspecialty physician appointments

O        Invitation to Foundation events and recognition on donor walls and in Foundation publications

O        Subscription to Spirit of Giving newsletter

St. Vincent Physicians Society

The Physicians Society recognizes St. Vincent physicians who contribute $1,000 or more on an annual basis to benefit the programs, services and patients of St. Vincent Hospitals.  Physician Society members demonstrate their exceptional commitment to the St. Vincent mission and ministries, and their dedication as a healer and philanthropic leader in our community. Member recognition is the same as those for the St. Vincent Society.  St. Vincent Physicians Society members also receive Friends of the Foundation benefits listed above. St. Vincent Nurses Society

The Nurses Society recognizes St. Vincent nurses who contribute $500 or more on an annual basis.  The Nurses Society was formed in 2010 with one primary goal - nurses helping nurses.  Members will be recognized on a special plaque in the Indianapolis Hospital atrium. Seton Society

The Seton Society is named in honor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, who dedicated her life to healing, serving and caring for the sick.  The Society honors donors who make a pledge or have lifetime contributions of $10,000 or more.  Member recognition is the same as those for the St. Vincent Society.  Seton Society members will also receive the Friends of the Foundation benefits listed above with an annual gift of $1,000 or above.

1881 Legacy Society

The 1881 Legacy Society was established to honor the founding date of St. Vincent Hospital and to recognize donors who have made a planned gift commitment or included the St.Vincent Foundation in their estate plans through a bequest, trust, retirement plan or other giving vehicle.  Please contact the Foundation if you have already included, or would like information on including, the St. Vincent Foundation in your estate plans.  Legacy Society members have their names featured on the Honor Wall of Donors in the Hospital lobby and in published donor listings, receive newsletters and other publications and event invitations.
