The 2024 Ascension St. Vincent Foundation Nursing Scholarship application cycle is now closed. Scholarship recipients will be notified by email by the end of May.
The Ascension St. Vincent Foundation awards nursing scholarships annually to deserving Ascension St. Vincent associates pursuing degrees that will help them further their nursing careers. Scholarships are made possible by the generous contributions of individuals, corporations, and foundations in recognition of the outstanding nursing care provided to Ascension St. Vincent patients and their families.
53 Ascension St. Vincent associates received Nursing Scholarships totaling $350,000 in 2023!
Nursing Scholarship Eligibility
Ascension St. Vincent Foundation Nursing Scholarships are available to full-time and part-time associates who have completed at least one year of consecutive employment at an eligible Ascension St. Vincent Hospital (eligible locations listed below) and are applying for or currently pursuing an associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in nursing at an accredited school.
Previous scholarship recipients are eligible to apply for a one-time renewal scholarship or may also re-apply if pursuing a new degree.

Application Requirements
Only complete applications will be eligible for consideration, including two peer and one director/manager recommendations. Please note: these must be three (3) different individuals.
Applicants must meet all other requirements to be eligible for consideration.
Deadline
The next application cycle will begin February 1, 2025. Applications must be submitted through the Edcor online portal. Complete applications (including essays, uploaded transcript if applicable, manager recommendation and two peer recommendations) will be accepted up until midnight, April 1, 2025. Only complete applications will be eligible for consideration.
