2018 ASSOCIATES CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTED PROJECTS

The 2018 Associates Campaign provides an opportunity for all St. Vincent associates, physicians, and volunteers to give back to those they work with and serve every day. While each participating St. Vincent ministry selects a specific project to highlight throughout the Campaign, associates are welcome to support any St. Vincent program or initiative important to them. 100% of all donations during the Campaign will support the project designated by the associate.

St. Vincent Indianapolis

The Healing Arts Program encompasses music, art, movement and pet therapies that are available for all St. Vincent patients. The expansion of this program beyond the existing pediatric and cancer programs will help ensure that these therapy services are available for all patients  at St. Vincent to help them cope with hospitalization, anxiety and stress. The program will also be accessible to associates to help with stress relief and team building. The funds raised will allow the program to have a broader reach on the Indianapolis campus.

St. Vincent Health

Safe sleep is a key to reducing the rate of infant mortality in Indiana. Safe Sleep Bundles include a Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent logoed sleep sack, pack-n-play & sheet, and a safe sleep booklet to help parents understand the essentials to safe sleep for their infants. The Safe Sleep Bundles will be sent home with all new parents to ensure that newborns are safe and secure at night, and help reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

St. Vincent Heart Center

St. Vincent Heart Center will be raising funds for the St. Vincent Cardiovascular Research Institute during the 2018 Associates Campaign. Launched in 2016, the Institute is committed to conducting cutting edge research that provides increased opportunities for patients to participate in heart and vascular trials, and ensures the highest quality patient outcomes. Funds raised will impact St. Vincent Heart Center patients and their families, providing more treatment options and ensuring that St. Vincent Heart Center continues to compete at a world class level while supporting the continued growth of the Institute.

St. Vincent Carmel

St. Vincent Carmel’s Associates Campaign will benefit the St. Vincent Carmel Associate Education Fund and H.U.G.S. (Helping Us Give Support). The Associate Education Fund provides financial support for attendance at educational conferences and seminars, scholarships for advanced learning and  access to a variety of lifelong learning tools that benefit our associates and the patients we serve.  The  H.U.G.S. Program allows St. Vincent Carmel associates an opportunity to help support and encourage their friends and co-workers in need  in a very tangible and meaningful way.

St. Vincent Fishers

This year’s Campaign will support the Spirit of Caring Associate Fund and the St. Vincent Fishers Associate Education Fund. The Spirt of Caring Fund helps associates who are experiencing an economic hardship due to an unforeseen circumstance including a health crisis, job loss, fire or natural disaster.  The Spirit of Caring Fund is used to support fellow associates in need including to purchase gift cards from local gas stations and drug and grocery stores. The Associate Education Fund provides financial support for attendance at educational conferences and seminars, scholarships for advanced learning and  access to a variety of lifelong learning tools that benefit our associates and the patients we serve.
